At Ampersand we want to add a person to our translation team this fall 2018. That's why we're launching a staff selection process and we're giving you information in case you want to apply. Here we go!
Who are we?
Ampersand is a company with 25 years of experience in the world of translation. We offer translation and proofreading services as well as a wide range of customized services for our clients. Our office is in Carrer de Balmes, in a very well-connected area of Barcelona (Sant Gervasi).
What is the job we offer?
We offer a translator job with these characteristics:
Full time job.
Translation tasks from English and other languages into Spanish and Catalan on various topics: legal, advertising, technical.
Correction of documents written in Catalan and Spanish.
Final revision of originals.
Auxiliary Email Address List tasks related to translation and company activities, such as writing entries for our blog.
Use of assisted translation tools.
Training in the use of the IT systems we use in the company.
If the translator has little experience, we will review the jobs and offer support to grow within our team.
Good working environment, with a cohesive team.
Facilities to reconcile professional and personal life.
Immediate incorporation or in a short period of time.
Our intention is that the hired person integrates into our team and progresses appropriately until consolidating himself in the company. At Ampersand we believe that stable teams, with little turnover, are the best way to create a good work environment and offer the highest quality translation services.
